Cloud is the new norm. Enterprise customers need to use private and public cloud solutions to become more agile and competitive. However, it is still challenging to build hybrid cloud architectures for the majority of customers. Core applications are running on legacy systems and architectures. The cloud is a solution to modernizing your applications and infrastructure. CIOs now have a cloud strategy, many with a cloud first policy. However, IT organizations have old tools and are not fully virtualized. IT does not have data, open, hybrid, or other, policies for the cloud. IT doesn’t have the talent or experience to consume open source: the engine for innovation. Developers have fully deployed applications to production in a public cloud, and public cloud spending is impacting infrastructure budgets.
